This scabbard mount is made up of a short and a long strap it is flexibly adjustable and therefore suitable for various kinds of scabbards. The loops at the bottom are used to attach the scabbard, the top loops have to be mounted on a belt. Due to the different lengths of the straps the sword hangs obliquely by the side of the wearer which make it easier to draw.
