Ancient Celtic Noble's Broadsword

Product Code: TAANBZ

Iron blades like this were being made by people we call Celts some 2500 years ago. Celts paid great respect to their gods; often offering them swords in sacred pools. A Celtic noble, armed with javelins and broadsword, would stand in a chariot as his charioteer worked their pair of nimble ponies around the battlefield. The charioteer would drive close to the enemy so the Noble could throw his javelins at a foe, or cut downward at the front ranks of his enemies with his long broadsword. When the Romans first invaded Britain they were amazed and terrified by British noble warriors in chariots.
