A very efficient, jet realistic LARP-crossbow.
The crossbows stemm is made from wood, the arms from metal. The arm is attached to the hilt with screws and with a ropes knot - that makes it stand historically.
We added a metal stirrup to engage the pulling of the string more realistic. 
The crossbows clasp is something really special: the rotating metal bolt holds back the string and releases it when the lever is pulled. No more unintentional releases...
